Outdoor waste bins Sort 40–120 l

Outdoor waste bin. Weather-resistant birch plywood waste bin for bottle collection on a terrace beside a hedge.

Outdoor waste bins Sort for yards, parks and entrances

Outdoor waste bins Sort collect one selectable waste fraction in one bin. The range includes brown and white 40, 80 and 120 litre models for planning the waste management of yards, parks, entrances, terraces and other outdoor areas.

Planning starts from the waste fraction to be collected, the actual waste accumulation at the place of use, the flow of users and the agreed emptying method. This guide helps you determine the waste type, the volume, the waste sack, the location, the markings, the operating conditions and the maintenance order before choosing an individual Sort model.

Outdoor waste bins Sort for collecting a single waste fraction

One waste fraction is determined for each waste bin, corresponding to the collection system of the property and of the local waste management. The collected fraction can be, for example, mixed waste, plastic packaging, cardboard packaging, paper, glass packaging, metal or deposit packaging, according to what is collected separately at the site.

Several single-fraction Sort waste bins can be placed side by side. Each bin then keeps its own waste name, colour and pictogram. Waste names or identifiers that conflict with each other are not added to one waste bin.

Outdoor waste bins Sort in 40, 80 and 120 litre volumes

The Sort 40 l model has one 40 litre inner bin and a 50 litre waste sack for it. The Sort 80 l model has one 80 litre inner bin and a 100 litre waste sack for it. The Sort 120 l model has one 120 litre inner bin and a 125 litre waste sack for it. All three volumes are available in brown and white.

The volume is chosen on the basis of the number of users, the actual accumulation of the chosen waste fraction, the space available and the agreed checking and emptying rhythm. A yard, a park, an entrance, a terrace or an event area is not automatically tied to one size class. The dimensioning is checked during use on the basis of actual filling.

Outdoor waste bins Sort are placed according to an open or covered location

Before the placement it is recorded whether the place is open or covered and to what stress from moisture, rain, sunlight, temperature and wind the bin can be exposed. A suitability decision for an open place is not made on the basis of marketing text alone; the conditions are compared with the material, surface treatment, use and maintenance instructions confirmed by the manufacturer for that Sort model.

The waste bin is placed on a stable and level base close to the place where the chosen waste fraction is usually generated. The bin must not narrow the passage or the exit route, cover signs, hinder the use of doors or be left on the route of a maintenance vehicle. Sufficient working space is left for using the lid, changing the waste sack, checking the surfaces and emptying.

Outdoor waste bins Sort are marked, checked and emptied according to the maintenance plan

The lid is chosen with a waste opening or without an opening according to the waste fraction to be collected. The sorting instruction is placed, according to the choice, on top of or under the lid so that the waste name and the pictogram are visible from the direction of approach. The language of the marking and the waste fraction are fitted to the users of the site and to the local collection system.

A checking rhythm, the responsibility for emptying, the storage place of the spare sacks and a procedure for exceptional filling, loose litter or visible surface damage are determined for the site. After severe weather or a heavy user load an additional check is made according to the maintenance instructions confirmed by the manufacturer. Sort products are delivered glued, fully assembled and packed. The first correctly sized waste sack is included, so the product does not require assembly at the site.

Outdoor waste bins from the Sort range

Once the waste fraction, the volume, the colour, the lid, the place of the marking, the waste sack, the placement conditions and the maintenance order have been defined, the next step is choosing a suitable model. In the Waste bins Sort for outdoor spaces category you can compare brown and white 40, 80 and 120 litre models, prices and product information.
