Mixed waste includes dirty packaging and general household waste. Liquids, hazardous waste, and electronics must not be placed in the container. Sorting makes disposal easier.

Put food scraps, paper towels, and coffee filters in the bio-waste container. Liquids, sauces, and soups must not be placed in it. Proper sorting of bio-waste helps produce compost and biogas and reduces the amount of waste that ends up in landfills.

Clean paper, newspapers, and cardboard boxes must be placed in the paper container. Dirty paper, disposable cutlery, drink cartons, and napkins must not be placed in it.
