Boardroom Recycling Bin for Waste Sorting

Boardroom Recycling Bin became part of our meeting facilities after the boardroom was used daily for management meetings, client presentations and strategic planning sessions. Printed agendas, meeting notes, coffee cups, bottled drinks and catering packaging regularly accumulated during discussions.

At first, recyclable materials remained on the conference table until every participant had left the room. Empty bottles, paper handouts and coffee cups often stayed in place between meetings because the schedule allowed very little time to prepare the room for the next group.

We initially assumed participants would take recyclable items with them when leaving. After observing several meetings, we realised most people left documents and refreshments behind so they could move directly to their next appointment.

We introduced a dedicated recycling bin inside the boardroom so paper, bottles and everyday packaging could be sorted immediately before participants left the room.

The improvement became noticeable after only a few meetings. The conference table remained clear, the room was ready for the next session more quickly and recyclable materials no longer accumulated between meetings.

One facilities coordinator remarked that preparing the boardroom became much simpler because most recyclable materials were already sorted before the meeting ended. The room layout, furniture and meeting schedule remained unchanged. The improvement came from placing recycling inside the boardroom itself.

That experience showed us that boardrooms are continuously prepared for important discussions throughout the working day. When recycling is available inside the meeting space, keeping the room organised becomes a natural part of finishing every meeting.
